- Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice in accordance with regulations, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions.

- Engages customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits, to deliver a distinctive and delightful experience.
Operations
- Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
- Recommends items for sale, including trade-up and/or companion items.
- Handles transactions, including voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, exchanges, and assists customers in locating products.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves, manages inventory, and records transactions.
- Supports pharmacy activities, including data entry, prescription filling, verification, and assisting with workflow scheduling.
- Reports prescription errors immediately, complies with pharmacy policies, and adheres to the Pharmacy Code of Conduct and Good Faith Dispensing policy.
- Handles non-urgent telephone calls, processes third-party claims, and performs clerical duties as assigned.
- Assists with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing pharmaceuticals, and files claims for warehouse issues.
- Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products such as alcohol and tobacco.
- Constructs and maintains displays, completes resets, and assists with product placement and stock rotation.
- Has knowledge of store systems and equipment.
- Provides photo area customer service, including digital passport photos and promotional products.
- Manages web order pickups and maintains store appearance and cleanliness.
- Follows all policies and maintains respectful relationships with coworkers, completing special assignments as needed.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
- Stays informed about healthcare and pharmacy developments.
Additional requirements include fluency in English (except Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
