Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

1. Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service to customers.
2. Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in practicing pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations. Uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

Customer Experience

1. Greet customers and patients, offer assistance, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
2. Share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits, to deliver a delightful customer experience.

Operations

1. Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to customers.
2. Recommend items, including trade-up and/or companion products.
3. Handle transactions, including voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges. Assist in locating products.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves, take inventory, and record keeping.
5. Assist with pharmacy duties such as entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and checking for interactions, under the supervision of pharmacists.
6. Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to pharmacy policies and the Quality Improvement Program.
7. Follow Good Faith Dispensing policies during prescription activities.
8. Handle non-urgent phone calls, including those to physicians.
9. Process manual third-party prescription claims and perform clerical duties as assigned.
10. Support inventory management activities, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals. File claims for overages, shortages, errors, or damages.
11. Ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products like alcohol and tobacco.
12. Construct and maintain store displays, including promotional and seasonal setups.
13. Assist with product separation, stock rotation, and restocking according to policies.
14. Maintain knowledge of store systems and equipment.
15. Provide customer service in the photo area, including passport photos and promotional products.
16. Handle web order pickups, monitor and fill orders, and deliver to customers.
17. Assist with store cleanliness and appearance, and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
18. Complete special tasks and assignments as directed.

Training & Personal Development

1. Maintain PTCB certification and/or state registration as required.
2. Participate in training, complete continuing education, and stay informed about healthcare and pharmacy developments.

• Must be fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
