Job Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice by using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

Customer Experience

• Engages customers and patients, greeting them and offering assistance. Resolves issues and answers questions to ensure positive experiences.
• Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.

Operations

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items and trade-up or companion products.
• Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges. Assists customers in locating products.
• Maintains cleanliness and merchandising of counters and shelves, manages inventory, and records data.
• Supports pharmacy operations by entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and assisting with workflow.
• Reports prescription errors immediately and adheres to company policies and pharmacy code of conduct.
• Follows policies regarding Good Faith Dispensing.
• Handles non-urgent phone calls and processes third-party claims efficiently.
• Supports pharmacy inventory activities and maintains compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
• Constructs and maintains displays, assists with product placement and stock rotation.
• Uses store systems and equipment knowledgeably.
• Provides photo services and web order pick-up support.
• Maintains store cleanliness and appearance, and fosters respectful coworker relationships.
• Completes special assignments as needed.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.

Additional Requirements

• Must be fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
