Job summary

Walgreens Co. seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver friendly, efficient checkout and assist pharmacists under direct supervision in Tennessee.

You will use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions, help customers find products, and maintain accurate records while upholding company policies and safety standards.

Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is required; prior retail or Walgreens experience and PTCB certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions, including counting and weighing medications.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous checkout service.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision, using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions.
• Engage customers and resolve issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Maintain counters and shelves, assist with inventory and pricing as directed.
• Assist and support Pharmacy Department on inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Ensure compliance with state/local laws and Walgreens policies.
