Job summary

Walgreens in Waukegan, IL is hiring a Pharmacy/Customer Experience associate to assist pharmacists under supervision and provide friendly checkout service. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and help process prescriptions while engaging customers with helpful, proactive service.

Front-end duties include ringing up sales, recommending items, and maintaining clean, well-stocked shelves.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Prefer basic computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing medications and obtaining patient information.
• Register sales at checkout and provide courteous, efficient service.
• Process prescriptions and resolve routine issues with pharmacy staff.
• Maintain clean, stocked counters and shelves; assist with inventory and merchandising.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and staff Pharmacist with workflow and documentation.
