Job summary

Walgreens in Tucson, AZ is seeking a team member to support pharmacists and perform customer-facing duties in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

You will assist with prescriptions under supervision, operate pharmacy systems, and help maintain accurate records while delivering friendly customer service. Prior Walgreens exposure, PTCB knowledge, and solid math/computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification or active enrollment in program.
• Experience in retail and customer service environments.
• Strong math skills for prescriptions and sales accuracy.
• Good computer literacy and point-of-sale fluency.
• Knowledge of store inventory control and stock management.
• Previous Walgreens experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision and use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions.
• Provide courteous, friendly checkout service and assist customers.
• Support inventory management, ordering, and shelf maintenance.
• Enter patient and drug information accurately and verify medicines.
• Handle third-party prescription claims and clerical tasks.
• Adhere to dispensing policies and pharmacy codes of conduct.
