Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy/Customer Service Associate to deliver a distinctive customer experience at the point of sale and to assist the pharmacist under supervision with prescription processing.

You will handle cash transactions, merchandising, and inventory while upholding store policies and safety standards. The role emphasizes strong English communication, flexibility in scheduling, and attention to detail in pharmacy-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Basic qualifications)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for prescriptions.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Recommends items for sale and assists in stock rotation and merchandising.
• Registers customer purchases, handles cash, and processes returns and exchanges as needed.
• Supports Pharmacy Department on inventory management and ensures compliance with laws and company policies.
• Assists with separation of food items and product placement according to policies.
