Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacy technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision, dispense medications, and provide exceptional customer service. You will use pharmacy systems to enter patient data and process prescriptions while maintaining store inventory and merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in retail preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience and basic math skills preferred.
• Good computer skills and inventory knowledge encouraged.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and pharmacy operations.
• Provide courteous checkout service and assist customers on the floor.
• Enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Maintain counters and shelves; handle returns, rain checks, and exchanges.
• Support pharmacy team with workflow; report prescription errors per policy.
