Job summary

Qualifications

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math and computer skills; knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists pharmacists in processing prescriptions under direct supervision and uses pharmacy systems for patient and drug information.
• Engages customers by greeting them and offering assistance, resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains counters and shelves, assists with inventory, and prices merchandise as directed.
• Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist and adheres to pharmacy policies and the Quality Improvement Program.
• Provides customer service in the photo area and handles web pick-up duties as needed.
