Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an associate to deliver a distinctive customer experience at the checkout and assist the pharmacist under supervision. You will use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and provide courteous service at the register, while maintaining shelves and supporting inventory and displays.

The role requires fluent English, willingness to work flexible hours, and PTCB certification. Experience in retail and good math skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Register sales on assigned cash register; provide courteous, fair, friendly checkout service.
• Assist pharmacist under direct supervision in dispensing; use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Maintain counters and shelves; keep store clean and merchandised; assist with inventory and pricing as directed.
• Support Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist and Store Manager; assist with prescription processing and workflow.
