Job summary

Walgreens is seeking staff to deliver a distinctive customer experience while handling cashier duties and supporting the pharmacist under supervision. This role involves patient and drug information handling, prescription processing, and accurate point-of-sale transactions.

You will engage customers, maintain store appearance, and assist with inventory and merchandising, while adhering to company policies and applicable pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provides customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items for sale and assists in locating products; handles returns and exchanges as needed.
• Maintains clean, merchandised counters and shelves and completes inventory checks and price updates.
