Job summary

Walgreens in East Toledo is seeking a Pharmacy Technician/Customer Service Associate to support pharmacists, process prescriptions, and deliver a positive shopping experience. You will handle cash register transactions, assist customers with products, and help maintain organized store and pharmacy areas.

Responsibilities include dispensing under supervision, entering data in pharmacy systems, and supporting inventory and photo services. Flexible schedule and PTCB-related training are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification is preferred/required for role.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision with dispensing and prescriptions processing.
• Register sales on a cash register and provide courteous checkout service.
• Enter patient and drug information using pharmacy systems and check for drug interactions.
• Recommend items and assist with locating products.
• Maintain clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves.
• Handle inventory, pricing, and store equipment knowledge.
• Provide photo area services and web-pickup support.
