Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in the practice of pharmacy and processes prescriptions.
• Engages customers, greets them, and helps with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean, merchandises, conducts inventory, and prices merchandise as directed.
• Performs duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager and staff, including entering patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
