Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacy assistant to support pharmacists under supervision in Ohio. You will use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions, assist customers, handle cash, and help maintain accurate records and inventory while delivering a friendly, efficient pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, resolving issues, assisting with medication prep under pharmacist direction, and supporting clinical services and store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for counting and measuring medications.
• Prefer good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under supervision and in accordance with policy.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Assist with inventory management activities including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments.
• Provide exceptional customer service and help customers locate products.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register.
