Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a team member to assist at the checkout and support the pharmacy team. In this role, you will register purchases, handle cash and returns, and guide customers to products while delivering friendly service.

You will also assist the pharmacist under supervision, access patient and drug information in the pharmacy system, and help maintain accurate records and inventories. Prior retail exposure is preferred, and good math and computer skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Assists pharmacist under supervision, uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engages customers, greets and offers assistance, resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Recommends items, handles inventory, pricing, and shelf maintenance.
• Performs pharmacy-related duties including dispensing support and workflow scheduling.
• Complies with policies and maintains store and pharmacy area in accordance with regulations.
