Qualifications

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for filling prescriptions, including counting and measuring.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service at the register.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision in entry of patient and drug information and prescription processing.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems; check for interactions.
• Fill prescriptions by counting, measuring and pouring medications; verify accuracy.
• Assist with inventory management, pricing, and merchandising responsibilities.
