Job summary

Walgreens is hiring to support customer experience and pharmacy operations in a retail setting. You will assist the pharmacist under supervision with prescriptions, handle sales at the register, and help customers with products and services.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends, with emphasis on accuracy in medication handling and strong customer service skills. Training and supervision are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for prescription filling and counting.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions.
• Engages customers, greets and helps with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintains clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves, and assists with inventory.
• Supports pharmacy operations, including entering patient/drug information and checking for interactions.
• Handles prescription errors, voids, returns, and clerical duties as needed.
• Performs general store duties and supports special assignments as directed.
