Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a Pharmacy Technician-like role to provide courteous checkout service and assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in processing prescriptions. You will use store systems for patient and drug information, help maintain clean, organized shelves, and support inventory tasks while delivering a positive customer experience.

The position requires fluent English, flexibility for evenings/weekends, and basic math and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for filling prescriptions.
• Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous checkout service.
• Assists pharmacist under direct supervision in processing prescriptions.
• Uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
• Maintains clean and merchandised counters and shelves.
• Performs inventory and price checks as directed.
• Supports Pharmacy Department with workflow and prescription processing.
