Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on the cash register and provides courteous, efficient checkout service.
• Assists pharmacists under supervision; uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Maintains clean counters and shelves, checks in and prices merchandise as directed.
• Fills prescriptions, verifies medicine, and checks for possible interactions.
• Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adheres to policy.
• Handles non-technical phone calls to physicians; assists with inventory management.
• Provides customer service in photo area and supports web-pickup orders.
• Ensures compliance with state/local laws on regulated products and company policies.
