Job summary

Walgreens in Florida is seeking a Retail Pharmacy Associate to deliver friendly checkout service and assist the pharmacist in processing prescriptions. You will engage customers, help locate products, and uphold store standards while ensuring accuracy in cash handling and inventory management.

Flexibility to work evenings/weekends is required. Prior retail experience and PTCB certification are preferred to support patient care and pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred or required per training program.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Assists pharmacist under direct supervision in processing prescriptions and managing patient drug information.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean, well merchandised, and maintains inventory records.
• Provides customer service in-store, answers questions, resolves issues, and helps customers find products.
• Handles returns, exchanges, and refunds as needed and assists with pharmacy-related tasks.
