Job summary

Walgreens in Florida is seeking a customer-focused associate to support pharmacy operations and front-end duties. You will assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, and ensure accurate cash handling while delivering courteous service.

The role requires flexibility, good math and computer skills, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends. Prior retail experience and PTCB certification are preferred to support safe and efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment and/or prior Walgreens experience.
• Good math and computer skills; knowledge of inventory control and pharmacy processes.
• PTCB certification or state-required certification/registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous, friendly checkout service.
• Assist pharmacists under supervision with processing prescriptions and patient information using pharmacy systems.
• Handle cash transactions, voids, returns, and exchanges accurately.
• Maintain clean, stocked counters and shelves; assist with inventory and pricing as directed.
• Support Pharmacy Manager with prescription dispensing duties and workflow optimization.
