Qualifications

• On-the-job training within the first six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greets, engages, and assists customers in a friendly and efficient manner. Answers phones and refers patient requests to licensed staff.
• Verifies customers' identity before providing medications and maintains confidentiality of prescription and patient identity.
• Enters purchases at cash register under designated ID and processes employee transactions and discounts.
• Files prescriptions in accordance with law and pharmacy policy and maintains logs as applicable.
• Runs scheduled reports and places reminder calls to patients who have not picked up prescriptions.
