Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Customer Service Associate who will deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience at the point of sale.

You will register customer purchases, assist the pharmacist under supervision, and provide courteous, efficient checkout service while ensuring compliance with store policies and pharmaceutical procedures. Ideal candidates have retail experience, strong math and computer skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior experience with Walgreens preferred.
• Good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and handles cash transactions.
• Assists pharmacist under supervision and uses pharmacy systems to process prescriptions.
• Provides courteous, fast, and efficient customer service.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised; takes inventory and prices items.
• Handles returns, exchanges, voids, and rain checks as needed.
• Assists with pharmacy workload and inventory management.
