Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Customer Experience Associate to deliver a distinctive and friendly checkout experience while assisting the pharmacist under supervision with prescription processing and patient information using pharmacy systems.

You will engage customers, stock shelves, handle insurance steps, and support pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and high-quality service. The role requires flexibility, English fluency, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills so they can fill prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions and using pharmacy systems.
• Recommends items for sale to customer and suggests trade-up and companion items.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; handles inventory and pricing tasks.
• Performs clerical duties and processes (corrects and resubmits) manual claims for third party prescription services.
• Supports Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities (ordering, unpacking, storing) and adherence to policy.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures; maintains professional conduct.
