Job summary

Responsibilities

• Register sales at the assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, and efficient checkout service.
• Recommends items for sale to customers and assists with OTC products, taking customers to the aisle when possible.
• Operates pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status and reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; maintains records and prices merchandise as directed.
• Implements asset protection procedures and ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
• Attends training as requested.
