Job summary

Walgreens is looking for a Pharmacy Clerk to deliver friendly service and assist the pharmacist in processing prescriptions in a fast-paced retail setting. You will handle checkout, help customers, and support daily pharmacy operations with accuracy and integrity.

Experience in retail and basic math or pharmacy-related tasks is preferred. Ability to work evenings and weekends is required. Training will cover pharmacy systems and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Handle checkout transactions with courtesy and efficiency.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions using pharmacy systems.
• Support inventory and merchandising, stock shelves, and maintain clean counters.
• Help with pharmacy operations and workflow under pharmacist direction.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty per policy.
