Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk/Customer Service focused associate to deliver outstanding customer service at the register, assist the pharmacist under supervision, and support store operations. The role requires working flexible hours, engagement in clinical workflow, and attention to accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, stocking shelves, helping customers, and maintaining a tidy store while upholding Walgreens policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and uses pharmacy systems to process prescriptions.
• Engages customers and patients, greets them and helps with products and services.
• Recommends items and aids customers in finding products; handles refunds, exchanges and returns as needed.
• Performs inventory management, stocking, pricing, and maintaining shelves; supports pharmacy with workflow.
