Job summary

Walgreens in Mount Pleasant, TN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists under supervision, process prescriptions, and provide friendly service at the register. Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience is preferred.
• Good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills are preferred.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and patient information.
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient checkout service.
• Handle cash register transactions, returns, exchanges, and refunds.
• Maintain counters and shelves, stock, price, and merchandising per policy.
• Support Pharmacy Department on inventory management and prescription processing.
• Adhere to company policies and pharmacy code of conduct.
• Resolve customer questions and issues to ensure a positive experience.
