Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens is preferred.
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling is preferred.
• Good computer skills are preferred.
• Knowledge of store inventory control is preferred.
• PTCB certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and assisting with products and services. Resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Registers customer purchases and handles payments, returns, and exchanges as needed; assists customers to locate products.
• Assists pharmacy staff in entering patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and maintaining workflow.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; maintains inventory and pricing records.
