Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous checkout service.
• Assists pharmacist under supervision, uses pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised; takes inventory and prices merchandise as directed.
• Handles routine pharmacy tasks and supports workflow as directed by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist and Store Manager.
• Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adheres to policy and procedures.
• Maintains compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Provides customer service in areas such as photo services and web pick-up when applicable.
