Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist under direct supervision, uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Helps customers with product questions and services across departments.
• Maintains clean and merchandised counters and shelves, assists with inventory and pricing.
• Handles prescriptions, verifies medications, and supports workflow in the Pharmacy Department.
