Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Pharmacy Customer Associate I to support pharmacy retail and mail order inquiries. The role is based in TX-SAN ANTONIO at 4751 Hamilton Wolf Rd, Ste 101, and requires full-time in-person presence.

You will handle basic customer questions by phone and email, with an 8-hour shift from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm CST, Monday through Friday. Some overtime may be required to meet company needs.

Qualifications

• Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and previous experience in an automated customer service environment.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or related certification preferred.
• Knowledge of benefits investigation and pharmacy PBM processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to basic customer questions via telephone and written correspondence regarding pharmacy retail and mail order prescriptions.
• Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with company functions to ensure requests are handled promptly.
• Interacts with internal and external customers to provide claims, customer service, and membership support.
• Completes necessary research to provide proactive, thorough solutions and ensures high quality resolution.
