Centurion seeks a full-time Pharmacy Coordinator Technician at Ware State Prison in Waycross, GA. The role supports the Pharmacist, handles prescription data entry, stock management, and coordination with healthcare professionals and corrections staff. Shift: Day Shift. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, current Pharmacy Technician certification, and at least one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Typing prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system.
• Maintaining a well-stocked pharmacy.
• Ensuring prescription orders are faxed to the contracted pharmacy for processing.
• Maintaining pharmacy files on prescriptions, requisitions, medication logs, drug and patient information, purchase orders.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Current certification and licensure as a Pharmacy Technician required.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.

We are currently seeking a full-time team at Ware State Prison, located in Waycross, GA.

Pay Scale: $19-$23 Per Hour

The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist to aid and assist the Pharmacist in assigned duties, including interacting with healthcare professionals and corrections and administrative staff to achieve the goals of the Pharmacy Department.

Essential Duties:

• Typing prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system
• Ensuring proper maintenance and operation of a well-stocked pharmacy
• Ensuring prescription orders are faxed to the contracted pharmacy for processing
• Maintaining pharmacy files on prescriptions, requisitions, medication logs, drug and patient information, purchase orders, and other records as required by the Pharmacist
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Current certification and licensure as a Pharmacy Technician required
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
