Centurion Health is hiring a Full-Time Pharmacy Coordinator Technician for Coastal State Prison in Port Wentworth, GA. The role supports a licensed pharmacist, handles prescription data entry, and helps maintain a stocked, compliant pharmacy.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, Pharmacy Technician certification, and at least one year of experience. A security clearance is required, including drug screening and background checks. Day shift with full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Current certification and licensure as a Pharmacy Technician required.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Typing prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system.
• Ensuring proper maintenance and operation of a well-stocked pharmacy.
• Ensuring prescription orders are faxed to the contracted pharmacy for processing.
• Maintaining pharmacy files on prescriptions, requisitions, medication logs, drug and patient information, purchase orders, and other records as required by the Pharmacist.
