Centurion Health is recruiting a Full-Time Pharmacy Coordinator Technician for Coastal State Prison in Port Wentworth, GA, serving the Georgia Department of Corrections. The role supports pharmacists and healthcare staff in a correctional facility, with a pay scale of $19–$23 per hour and day shifts.

Essential duties include typing prescriptions, maintaining a stocked pharmacy, faxing orders to the contracted pharmacy, and managing prescription records under pharmacist supervision.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Current certification and licensure as a Pharmacy Technician required.
• Minimum one year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsabilidades

• Typing prescription data into the pharmacy computerized filing system.
• Ensuring proper maintenance and operation of a well-stocked pharmacy.
• Ensuring prescription orders are faxed to the contracted pharmacy for processing.
• Maintaining pharmacy files on prescriptions, requisitions, medication logs, drug and patient information, purchase orders, and other records as required by the Pharmacist.
