Job summary

Walgreens in North Carolina is seeking a Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Assistant to assist pharmacists, process prescriptions, and provide friendly, efficient checkout service at the front of the store.

You will use pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, fill prescriptions under supervision, and help with inventory, OTC sales, and customer care in a fast-paced environment. PTCB certification and ongoing training are encouraged.

• Accurate use of pharmacy systems and checkout procedures

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product recommendations to enhance experience
• Register sales and process payments at the register
• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing under supervision
• Maintain clean, organized counters and shelves and help with inventory
• Support pharmacy operations including entering patient and drug information
• Handle calls and basic claims processing for third-party prescriptions
