The concierge role is designed to provide personalized attention to patients in order to enhance the customer service experience.
The compensation for this position is projected to be 20-22/ hr based on experience.
Warmly greet customers upon arrival in a professional and courteous manner.Maintain order and efficiency in lobby area.Facilitate communication between patients and back-end pharmacy staff.Provide direction and assistance for patients in need of Callen Lorde health services beyond the pharmacy.Work with patients to improve understanding of pharmacy communication systems (i.e. pharmacy app and text notifications).Assist with maintaining over-the-counter inventory.Offer a warm “thank you for your business” to exiting customers.Promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department.Comply with Maxor’s Ethical Business Conduct policy and Maxor’s Compliance Program.Remain free from exclusion under the Office of the Inspector General and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists.Complete required training, as assigned, within the established timeframes.Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.Maintain regular attendance in accordance with established policies.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Education:High school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience: 1year customer service experience
Ability to communicate well with people from a diverse backgroundA commitment to treating all patients with empathy and compassionAbility to be standing for extended periods of timeBasic technical and organization skillsHigh customer service orientation, exhibiting a welcoming disposition with the ability to be consistently polite, helpful, kind, courteous and discreet.Bilingual Spanish speaking skills a plus
