Maxor National Pharmacy Services is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a full-time role in the Chelsea area of New York City. The position offers an hourly rate of $22–$28 with competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401(k) plan with company match.

Responsibilities include taking prescription orders, assisting customers, and maintaining shelves. PTCB certification is required or obtainable within six months with company support.

Qualifications

Maxor National Pharmacy Services has an EXCITING, opening for an experienced, full-time, customer focused Pharmacy Technician. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to work within one of the Maxor National Pharmacy Services network of managed clinic-based pharmacies in the Chelsea area of New York City. This full time position offers a highly competitive hourly rate of pay, a generous healthcare benefits plan participation, and 401 (K) Plan with company match.

The estimated compensation for this role is $22-28/hr depending on experience.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Flexible to cover shifts between 8am-9pm
• Current PTCB Certification or the ability to obtain one within 6 monthsof employment (Maxor will assist)
• 2+ years retail pharmacy experience; experience in HIV/AIDS clinical setting preferred.
• Computer experience mandatory
• Proven track record of exemplary customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual Spanish speaking skills a plus
• Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
