Pharmacy Clinical Specialist - Pediatric Critical Care

Join Cleveland Clinic as a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist - Pediatric Critical Care and be part of a world-class healthcare organization dedicated to excellence in patient care, research, and education.

Position Details
  • This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Work at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus, supporting inpatient pharmacy services across various units including the PICU and PCICU. This role involves working an evening schedule from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., on a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and provide pharmaceutical care for pediatric patients.
  • Participate in patient care rounds.
  • Perform pharmacotherapeutic monitoring and provide pharmaceutical care.
  • Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Educate staff and trainees in pharmacotherapy.
Minimum Qualifications
  • PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation within 90 days.
  • Post-graduate training or equivalent experience as detailed in the original description.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Board Certification.
Physical and Safety Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Normal or corrected vision and effective communication skills.
