Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, seeks Assistant Director of Pharmacy Clinical Services to oversee clinical activities and drug information services, manage clinical pharmacists, and coordinate projects and policies.

You will work with medical staff committees, mentor residents and students, ensure compliance with regulations, and contribute to innovative pharmaceutical programs. The position offers a comprehensive benefits and wellness package.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from ACPE accredited school required.
• PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Training required.
• PGY2 residency training or equivalent salaried professorship required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a progressive pharmaceutical management position.
• Board certification in Pharmacotherapy required within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical activities of staff and clinical pharmacists.
• Evaluate newly approved medications and regimens.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations; develop policies and procedures.
• Lead meetings of Medical staff and Pharmacy staff as assigned.
• Provide experiential training for Pharmacy Residents and Students.
• Maintain awareness of new drugs and clinical literature.
