Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile and learning their names.
• Answer the telephone promptly and assist with refill orders.
• Gather patient information required to prepare prescriptions.
• Stock received products and keep pharmacy supplies well stocked.
• Review prescriptions not picked up and assist with invoices and cash transactions.
• Prepare paperwork and compile medicine for delivery orders and mail-outs.
• Coordinate nursing home medicines as necessary.
• Administer vaccines as allowed by law, with required certification where applicable.
• Keep the pharmacy clean and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Work with team to ensure customer satisfaction and assist in other areas as needed.
