Job summary

Advantage Healthcare Services in California is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk to manage the front desk under the supervision of the Pharmacist-in-Charge. You will handle customer service for our patients and support delivery coordination.

Responsibilities include coordinating medication deliveries, maintaining prescription records, answering calls, processing transactions, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Must be reliable, with strong communication and basic computer skills; bilingual in English/Spanish

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service required.
• Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all forms of delivery of patient medications.
• Maintain organization of prescription hard copies.
• Answer or transfer phone calls to appropriate pharmacy associate.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with drivers and courier services.
• Regularly communicate delivery updates to patients and the pharmacy.
• In charge of the cash registers when processing transactions.
• Document patient information in the pharmacy software.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and all applicable laws.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as required.
