Hy-Vee, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Clerk to support daily pharmacy operations, assist customers, stock supplies, and handle cash transactions with accuracy. You’ll coordinate with pharmacists, maintain confidentiality of patient data, and ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly and pleasantly for customers.

This hourly role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to helping people in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. Vaccination-certified candidates are preferred where applicable.

Formación

• Attention to detail in handling prescriptions and patient information.
• Strong customer service and communication skills for greeting customers and taking orders.
• Basic arithmetic for handling cash transactions and charges.
• Ability to organize and manage materials, records, and invoices.
• Maintaining discretion with confidential patient information and HIPAA guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers and taking refill orders.
• Answer the telephone promptly and assist callers with refills and questions.
• Gather patient information required to prepare prescriptions and coordinate with pharmacists.
• Stock and inventory management; ensure supplies are well stocked and invoices are reviewed.
• Log invoices and complete cash transactions accurately, while maintaining confidentiality.
