In thisrole, you will play a critical part in the final stages of the patient care process by handling high-volume order assembly and dispatch for specialized compounded medications. Order Assembly: Safely wrap, box, and prepare pharmacist-approved compounded prescription orders for distribution.
Cold-Chain Packaging: Build specialized, temperature-controlled shipping setups using validated thermal packaging protocols.
Shipping & Logistics: Create carrier shipping labels, log outbound packages, and coordinate regular carrier pickups.
Quality Verification: Perform thorough final checks on recipient details and order contents before sealing packages.
Inventory Tracking: Monitor packing materials, boxes, and cold-chain supplies to keep workstations fully stocked.
Target Achievement: Consistently hit daily benchmarks for speed, unit volume, and accuracy.
Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a tidy, efficient, and audit-ready workstation at all times.
Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to HIPAA guidelines, Texas State Board of Pharmacy regulations, USP standards, and internal safety protocols.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong focus on patient safety.
Proven ability to work productively in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
Reliable attendance
Prior experience in shipping, warehouse fulfillment, or logistically focused environments.
Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift.
Ability to comfortably lift, push, and carry up to 40 lbs.
Comfortable performing repetitive manual tasks, including packing, taping, and labeling.
