Castroville Healthcare LLC seeks a reliable Packing & Shipping Associate for the Pharmacy Fulfillment Center in San Antonio. You will accurately pick, pack, and prepare prescriptions and pharmacy orders for shipment, ensuring patient safety and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous packing, warehouse, or fulfillment experience is a plus (not required).
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with names, dosages, and addresses.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25–40 lbs for extended periods.
• Basic computer/scanner skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
• Must be able to pass a background check (required in pharmacy settings).

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare prescription and pharmacy orders for shipment.
• Verify order contents against packing slips to ensure accuracy.
• Apply proper labeling, including patient information and shipping labels.
• Inspect packages for quality and completeness before shipment.
• Operate packing equipment (tape guns, label printers, scales, etc.).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packing/shipping workstation.
• Follow all pharmacy compliance, safety, and confidentiality regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
• Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
• Communicate any discrepancies or issues to a Lead Tech promptly.
• Assist with inventory counts and restocking packing supplies as needed.

Location: Pharmacy Fulfillment Center Pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (shift/hours within this window) Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packing & Shipping Associate to join our pharmacy team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring prescriptions and pharmacy products are accurately packed and shipped to customers in a timely and safe manner. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical, as this position directly supports patient care.

Schedule Details

• Monday through Friday
• Shifts scheduled between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• No weekends required

Compensation & Benefits

• $15.00–$16.00 per hour, based on experience
