Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Cary, NC team. You will support pharmacists, dispense medications accurately, enter data, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires relevant licensure, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to handle confidential information. You will participate in health and wellness initiatives and uphold safety standards in-store.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacist in responsibilities except where professional judgement is required.
• Provide stellar customer experience through reception, data entry, adjudication and product dispensing.
• Assist with training of clerks and technicians.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information matches records.
• Support non-dispensing health services as allowed by laws and policies.
• Adhere to HIPAA and company policies.
