Fred Meyer, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide exceptional customer service and assist pharmacists in daily duties at our Oregon locations.

You will support reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing processes while upholding HIPAA and safety standards. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 18+ years old with ability to handle confidential information and hold required registrations or licensure.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.
• HIPAA regulations familiarity and adherence is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experience while accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing steps.
• Support coaching and training of clerks/technicians.
• Compound medications according to state regulations.
• Perform post fill audits to verify prescription information.
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and applications.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings in line with state and federal law and company policies.
• Provide health and wellness services allowed by regulatory bodies.
• Ensure sanitation and safety regulations are followed; report unsafe conditions to store management.
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report illegal activity when observed.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
