Fred Meyer in Portland, OR is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist with reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing. You will help provide health and wellness services while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in line with HIPAA regulations.

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance with company policies.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• State licensure or national registration may be required depending on state requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgement.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Support the continued coaching and training of clerks and/or technicians.
• Assist in compounding medications according to state regulations.
• Perform post fill audits to verify prescription information matches computer records.
• Support non-dispensing services through various platforms and applications.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings consistent with state and federal law and company policies.
• Provide health and wellness services allowed by state and other regulatory bodies.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report illegal activity as required.
