Smith's Food & Drug Centers seeks a pharmacy support professional to assist pharmacists, ensure accurate data entry, and deliver a high level of customer service in a compliant, safe environment.

You will help with reception duties, dispensing steps, and non-dispensing health services while adhering to HIPAA and company policies. Growth paths exist through ongoing training and licensure support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacist's professional judgement.
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing steps.
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and applications.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription data matches records.
• Support and train clerks and technicians as needed.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations; report illegal activity when observed.
