Smith's Food & Drug Centers is seeking a pharmacy technician to provide exceptional customer service and health and wellness services in a Salt Lake City-area store. You will support the pharmacist, assist with reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing steps, while maintaining confidentiality and complying with HIPAA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.
• Any previous comparable experience.
• Any equivalent experience of a pharmacy technician.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional customer service and health and wellness services.
• Support pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring pharmacist judgment.
• Maintain a current national and/or state registration, certification, or license.
• Assist pharmacist and perform reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing steps.
• Support non-dispensing services through various platforms and applications.
• Complete all CLIA-waived screenings in accordance with state and federal law and company policies.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and report unsafe conditions.
• Handle HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
